Today the Duta Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) was officially opened to the public.
The 18km Expressway connects Taman Hillview Interchange on Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 in Ulu Kelang to New Klang Valley Expressway's Jalan Duta Interchange.
Hopefully the opening of this new highway will help boost the value of our neighbourhood.
Try it! Its a six lane pleasant alternative route to cruise on.

Stevie Wonder would be happy that they name the road after one of his songs.
Tried the Duke today but it ends up somewhere in Sentul, no where near Jalan Duta. But if you want to go to Setiawangsa, its convenient.
ReplyDeletethis duke i think they no porvide any traffic study bcos if we see during morning session...a lots of cars coming to mrr2 main road.....how they handle this...one one can raise up this....pleaseeeeeeee help us.........
ReplyDeleteYou are right Abeje, from the feedback published in the local newspapers there were mixed feelings about the DUKE.
ReplyDeleteIt would only be fair to comment when the whole expressway fully opens in about 3 months time.
In the meantime, we should be mindful that we as consumers have an additional alternative.
